FBI DROPS SEARCH FOR GIRL AND AIRMAN.(CAPITAL REGION)

The sister of a 14-year-old upstate New York girl who apparently disappeared with a Nebraska-based airman after they met through the Internet said Sunday she is frustrated with the pace of the investigation.

Meanwhile, the FBI said it is no longer searching for Ceara O'Connell of Brighton. Authorities believe the high school freshman, who disappeared from a mall near her suburban Rochester home on Dec. 19, is with 22-year-old airman Brooker Maltais.

The pair apparently met on an Internet chat room devoted to a vampire fantasy game. Maltais is absent without leave from Offut Air Force Base in Nebraska.
