WA: WA firefighting experts head to Canada

Six West Australian forest fire experts are heading to Canada to help battle wildfires
in British Columbia.

WA Environment Minister DONNA FARAGHER says five officers from the Department of Environment
and Conservation and one from the Forest Products Commission will fly from Sydney to Vancouver
tomorrow.

She says they'll stay near the Whistler Blackcomb ski resort for six weeks.

They'll join 24 other fire experts from across Australia and New Zealand.
